Yoga enthusiasts from all over Trinidad & Tobago were treated, over a 3-day period, to insights into the life and message of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The Sathya Sai International Organisation—along with other groups such as Chinmaya Mission and the Self-Realisation Fellowship—was invited to participate in YogaFest 2016, in commemoration of this year’s International Day of Yoga.
YogaFest 2016 featured workshops, talks, and demonstrations on yoga and holistic lifestyle. Our very own Brother Sunder Iyer, Sai University alumnus currently based in Trinidad, was a keynote speaker and main contributor to the event.
Approximately 200 members of the public visited the SSIO’s display booth which featured posters on Educare and Human Values, along with an extensive collection of Sai literature. SSIO volunteers enjoyed inspiring interactions with members of the public who browsed and purchased books, CDs, and DVDs.
Attendees also spent time looking at the multimedia presentations on the work of Bhagawan Baba and the SSIO, and enthusiastically helped themselves to vibhuti, bookmarks and postcards—which featured Swami’s photos and quotes.
Jai Sai Ram!
