Jai Sai Ram

Our President sister Vinti Mohip accompanied by members of Central Council SSIOTT, have embarked on a journey across our motherland visiting all Centres and meeting with you the members of our unique organization, that which the Avatar of the age Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has given His name to.

The aim and objectives of these visits are :

  1. Getting to know the coordinators and members of each Centre
  2. Share information of upcoming programs and projects
  3. Inform members of ways and means of them getting directly involved in the Organisation’s activities via sub-committees lead by members of Central Council
  4. Providing an informal forum for members to share concerns and or suggestions for building and strengthening our Organisation, the bond of Love, Unity and brotherhood amongst our Centers / members.

Visit #1

Port of Spain Sai Centre 10/02/2019

President Vinti Mohip was accompanied by Vice Presidents Anuradha Boodram and Jagdesh Lakhan, National Mahila Coordinator Sharmila Ramlakhan, National Seva Coordinator Ramnarine Ramdass and Deputy Central Coordinator of the West Indies Fize Mohammed.

Let the different faiths exist, let them flourish, let the glory of God be sung in all languages in a variety of tunes. That should be the ideal. – BSSSB

This was the experience of the devotional session at this Centre unique in its location of downtown Port of Spain.

Members of council were fortunate as well to be a part of the Centre’s Seva kitchen day #810 where 235 boxes of food was lovingly parceled for distribution.

Many thanks to the Chairperson Sister Gayatri Maharaj and members of the Port of Spain Sai Centre for warmly receiving our Central Council members and for openly sharing valuable contributions during the open forum.

Visit #2

Navet Sai Centre 12/02/2019

President Vinti Mohip was accompanied by Vice President Anuradha Boodram, National Seva Coordinator Ramnarine Ramdass and Deputy Central Coordinator of the West Indies Fize Mohammed.

Navet Sai Centre nestled in ‘the land of dasheen’ is unique in that it also houses one of the Sathya Sai Garden of Blooms ECCE Early Childhood Care and Education Schools. Though the physical Centre maybe ‘small’ (three thirds of the original space of the Centre was donated for the school) the feeling of Love and fellowship far surpass the walls of the physical structure.

At that visit, the parent of a child enrolled at the ECCE school gave his testimony and expressed gratitude to the teachers for the impeccable level of care and academic excellence given to his child.

The evening ended with a scrumptious meal….fancy style Dasheen!
