Sathya Sai Schools celebrate Easwaramma Day & Mother’s Day

May 6th every year is celebrated as Easwaramma Day, in commemoration of the saintly lady who was blessed to be the mother of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. Mother Easwaramma was very fond of children and was one of the pioneers of the Bal Vikas movement. As fate would have it, this day coincides closely with Mother’s Day.

The significance of the day is that it is celebrated as Children’s Day, a day when little children are to be reminded of the ideal, a day when she (Mother Easwaramma) presented an ideal – Sathya Sai Baba, May 6, 1983.

The Sathya Sai International Organization of Trinidad and Tobago celebrated, on May 7th, the life and blessings of the mothers and children of the Sathya Sai Garden of Blooms ECCE Centres at all 4 locations: Longdenville, Tacarigua, Kernahan and Navet.

Sathya Sai Centres of all the regions wholeheartedly supported the 4 schools with devotional offerings of songs, prayers, and short talks on Mother Easwaramma’s exemplary life of values.

Children and parents both enjoyed the devotional program, participating enthusiastically by clapping and singing along to the multi-faith songs offered.

The children surprised their loving mothers with handmade cards and floral gifts, and honoured them through songs and poems.

Our little ones did everyone proud! May they always be blessed. Jai Sai Ram.
